Like most of the Kwan leaders, Grandmaster Lee Nam Suk moved to the United States in the 1980s. To preserve the Changmookwan global movement. This move allowed him the International freedom to help the Changmookwan proliferate.

As most black belts are aware in 1972 the WTF was formed to terminate the growth of the Taekwondo Kwans and the International Taekwondo Federation.

(According to three Kwan Grandmasters along with others I spoke to in South Korea) Gen Choi Hong Hi the ITF along with the Kwans were getting to powerful to quickly, thus the General well educated, respected and admired around the world, very well could become the President of South Korea.

The political powers that be knew, if the General was to become the President of South Korea, many heads would roll and many of the opponents of the ITF and the Kwans would no longer be welcome in South Korea.

After the Kwan Grandmasters, and all other members of the Korea Taekwondo Association (KTA) leaders were pressured in forming the WTF. Due to this inside government political corruption. It was to hard, as it still is today to have the political freedom to do what is RIGHT not withstanding how hard it is to make a living teaching the traditional Kwan Taekwondo in Korea today.

Many of the Kwan masters only get paid 10% of the WTF registration fee. ( The New Boys are in charge syndrome). I am sure any one from the streets understand this saying if not, just remember the late Mr. Al Calpone (God rest his soul) saying, to his business colleagues or enemies " I am going to make you a deal you can't refuse". And if you do refuse, well......

I hope you got it, if not, you need to get your butt back on the streets, because you missed a very important lesson out there.

Let it be known, the WTF has is own political agenda. By controlling the promotion and ranking system, by only allowing Korean Masters to be promoted to the higher ranks within the international Taekwondo community. The Sport of Taekwondo can be controlled by the highest-ranking Grandmasters of this INTERNATIONAL SPORT organization.

(This control is only temporary mind you, Please, read on).

The United States and Europe have long-standing, properly documented, Taekwondo masters and black belts; these masters practiced the old Kwan styles known as Changmookwan TaeSooDo or other Kwan styles long before the word Taekwondo was even mentioned in their countries. Take notice the WTF as of 1999 still has no non-Korean 8th dan or 9th dan black belts registered with the WTF records office.

When I recently asked four high ranking WTF representatives the question „ How many Non-Korean grandmasters does the WTF have registered? Three of them replied. „ Only Korean masters are qualified to receive a high rank from the WTF.

One very young Grandmaster said as he chuckled „ I never heard of any high ranking Non-Korean black belts and I have never seen or met a Non-Korean Grandmaster. I don't believe there will ever be a WTF non-Korean Grandmaster‰. As he paused to hold back another not so wise remark, his laughter seemed to get the best of him. He just quit talking and slowly walked away bowing and waving as he stepped into the Korean restaurant to sip some Gin-row and smoke a cigarette. (Gin-row is an alcohol drink many Koreans enjoy).

None of these well-qualified Grandmasters have yet to be recognized by the WTF, however, other systems have recognized these non-Korean Grandmasters for their leadership and dedication to the development of Taekwondo as a world sport.

This should send a clear message to the world about the political agenda of the WTF and its current international leadership.

The World Changmookwan and its international leadership is one of those historically documented legitimate organizations that the world can be proud of. The World Changmookwan along with other prominent Kwan leaders do not discriminate because of gender, race, religion, or nation you were born in. Like the WTF leadership does.

It is my belief this is the reason why the World Taekwondo Federation will loose its international black belt support a short time after the 2000 Olympic games just as Judo did not to long ago.

The black belt Grandmasters, masters, black belt instructors will soon discover the WTF is no better for them or their students then Kodokan was for the Judo or JuiJitsu masters. For those of you that never heard of the Kodokan of Japan, this organization controls the sport of Judo much the same way the WTF controls the SPORT of Taekwondo. Many of the Judo JuiJitsu masters are no longer supporting the Kodokan they are members of the International Jujitsu Federation JJIF and have formed new national sport bodies in their respected nations.

To make a long story, longer, as the Leaders of the Kwans predicted over 30 years ago. The original Kwans would pay a big price for allowing the KTA to fold. The Kwans would lose international black belt support and the international Taekwondo community would be sold a pack of lies and deception by this new Taekwondo organization. ( WTF) with lower enrollments of black belts into the Kwans the Grandfathers of Taekwondo are suffering, as predicted, due to lack of international Black Belt supports. ( I am sure you can see the pattern forming here).

The reason for this is because the WTF and it's international black belt leadership has in fact sold the world a pack of lies and continues it's deception and would have the world and everyone in it, including, the WTF's own international leadership, believe it's own deceptive propaganda, that, the only Taekwondo masters that are any good at fighting or teaching the WTF SPORT system are Korean Masters.

(Just for your information everyone, one must remember, when the fighting gets stated who is generally the first nations to respond! If you can't guess, I will tell you, The Americans, North Americans, Arabs, Chinese, South Americans, Indians and you guessed it the Europeans).

Oh,, by the way that is why the Americans along with the Europeans and the other nations formed the other martial arts SPORT systems. The JuiJitsu International Federation and the first major Karate organization known as the World Union of Karate Do Organizations, now known as the World Karate Federation and the World Karate Confederation. These organizations are working towards the International Olympic committee for recognition as a separate Martial SPORT in the year 2004.

The World Changmookwan is one Taekwondo organization that will support all Taekwondo black belts, by making sure the deserving black belts get promoted to the higher ranks they deserve.

Grandmaster Lee, nor other, Kwan Grandmasters, would have the political freedom to promote, non-Korean masters from their Korean homeland. This is one reason Grandmaster Lee along with other Taekwondo Kwan Grandmasters left their beloved home land.

Grandmaster Lee Nam Suk is truly one of the worlds a strongest Taekwondo Grandmasters. He loves Taekwondo and the students of all martial art systems. His commitment is nothing more then 100% for his Changmookwan Grandmasters Masters, black belt instructors and students.

I know this article will turn some heads and I will continue to be black balled by the WTF international leadership, however, I really don't care. Because, I do not support the WTF from a loyal stand point. The only Taekwondo organizations I am truly loyal to, is the World Changmookwan and the Central Taekwondo Association of the United States. The CTA is the oldest and largest Changmookwan Taekwondo organization in the world. This organization has thousands of Taekwondo Grandmasters, masters and black belts around the world. That will never support the WTF unless the current leadership is replaced by non conformist Taekwondo Great Grandmasters such as the Kwan Grandfathers.

( Why should we continue support the WTF when this Taekwondo organization continues to show its dishonesty and deception as well as its total disregard for truth and integrity )?

( Now some Grandmasters, masters, and black belts will say the information I am giving you is not true, however, you be the judge of this most important point, the original Kwan Grandmasters the grandfathers of Taekwondo Can Not recommend a well documented deserving Grandmaster or master be recognized by the WTF any higher the 6th dan.

Now you tell me, If the WTF stood for Integrity, and Truth, why would they tie the hands of the Grandfathers of Taekwondo. The same Grandmasters that started the expansion of Taekwondo around the globe. Hummmm, I wonder if it might be CONTROL of the ranking structure thus guaranteeing total control of all Taekwondo practitioners and Kwan organizations around the globe ).

I do not recommend anyone, register his or her black belts with the World Taekwondo Federation.... The only reason to do so is to help your students compete in the national championships, thus qualifying them for international competition.

This CONTROL is going to change after the 2000 Olympic games; there are international laws against Discrimination, and unfair business practices. Thousands of international black belts are getting wise the discrimination, deception, control, of the WTF' s propaganda machine and they are now starting to join their Kwan organization.

The WTF and its political propaganda machine will and the existing national organizations can only force your WTF support for a few more years. You and your black belts will not have to put up with the arrogant, deception of the WTF or your National all Korean lead governing bodies.

The move is on to split Taekwondo into two groups the WTF and the Kwan groups. If don't want the propaganda to continue running your life, your black belts, your international organization or your business, then take my advice and go back to your Kwan Master. The WTF and its present international leadership will not be in charge of the Taekwondo Sport for much longer.

I will keep you informed on the details after the Olympic games are over. At this time We do not want to upset the 2000 Olympic Taekwondo Games.

Just a word of advice to all international black belts, you really need to find out what Kwan Master you came from. Have that master acquire your Kwan black belt certification; you are going to NEED it. Remember the name of this organization: " The World Taekwondo Confederation "

Ninguno de estos Maestros, expertos y calificados han sido reconocidos por la WTF. Sin embargo, otros sistemas sí ha reconocido a estos Maestros no coreanos debido a su liderazgo y dedicación hacia el Taekwondo como un deporte mundial. Esto debe mandar al mundo un mensaje claro respecto de la agenda política de la WTF y su actual liderazgo internacional.

El Changmookwan Mundial y su liderazgo internacional, es una organización legitima e históricamente documentada de la cual todos nos podemos enorgullecer. El Changmookwan Mundial en compañía de otros prominentes líderes de otros Kwanes, no descrimina basado en género, raza, religión o nacionalidad, como sucede con los líderes de la WTF. Por estas razones, creo que la WTF va a perder el apoyo internacional de los cintas negras poco después de los Juegos Olímpicos del 2000, de la misma forma que sucedió con el Judo hace poco tiempo.

Los cinta negra Maestros, Profesores, Instructores muy pronto descubrirán que la WTF no es mejor para ellos o sus estudiantes como el Kodokan lo fue para los Maestros de Judo y Jiujitsu. Estas organizaciones están trabajando con el Comité Olímpico Internacional para que se les reconozca como un DEPORTE marcial separado, esto para el año 2004.

El Changmookwan Mundial es una organización de Taekwondo que apoyará a todos los poseedores de cinta negra de Taekwondo, asegurándose que una vez reconocidos alcancen los más altos rangos a los que se hagan merecedores. El Maestro Lee, ninguno otro, los Maestros de los Kwanes, contarán con la libertad política de promover Profesores de diferente nacionalidad a la coreana desde la Patria Coreana.

Esta es una razón por la que el Maestro Lee y otros Líderes de Kwanes han abandonado su querida Patria. El Maestro Lee Nam Suk es verdaderamente uno de los Maestros más fuertes en el Taekwondo mundial. El ama el Taekwondo y los estudiantes de todos los sistemas de las artes marciales. Su compromiso es total al con los Profesores, Cintas Negras y estudiantes del Changmookwan. Es claro que este artículo provocará que muchas caras se vuelvan y continúen siendo bloqueados por los líderes de la WTF. La CTA es la organización de Changmookwan Taekwondo más grande y antigua en el mundo.

Cuenta con miles de Maestros, Profesores y cintas negras en todo el mundo. Nunca apoyaremos la WTF a menos que los líderes actuales fueran sustituidos por Maestros inconformes del Taekwondo, tales como los Padres de los Kwanes, ¿porqué seguir apoyando la WTF, cuando esta organización de Taekwondo continua mostrándose deshonesta y decepcionante, lo mismo que la falta total de integridad e interés por la verdad?

Por cierto que van a existir algunos Maestros, Profesores y cintas negras que opinarán que la información que les doy no es cierta, sin embargo, sean ustedes los jueces de este punto que es crucial. Los Maestros así como los Padres del Taekwondo, NO PUEDEN recomendar o documentar a Maestros o Profesores para que se les reconozca por la WTF para niveles superiores al 6º Dan. Ustedes me dirán, si la WTF representara la integridad, la verdad, entonces ¿porqué atar las manos de los Padres del Taekwondo? los mismos Maestros que iniciaron la expansión del Taekwondo alrededor del mundo. Yo me pregunto entonces si El CONTROL de la estructura de rangos les garantiza el control de todos los practicantes del Taekwondo en el mundo.

A nadie le recomiendo registrar su cinta negra con la WTF. La única razón para hacerlo, será para ayudar a sus estudiantes a competir en campeonatos nacionales, que los calificaría para la competencia internacional. Este CONTROL cambiará después de los Juegos Olímpicos del 2000. Existen leyes internacionales contra la discriminación y prácticas de negocio injustas. Miles de cintas negras en el circuito internacional se han cansado de la discriminación, decepción, el control y la propaganda del la WTF y se han empezado a reunir con las organizaciones de sus Kwanes. La WTF y su propaganda política seguirá existiendo junto con las organizaciones nacionales, y se les forzará a apoyar a la WTF. Sin embargo esta situación sólo durará unos pocos años más. Ustedes y sus cintas negras no tendrán que soportar más la arrogancia y decepción de la WTF y sus cuerpos gobernantes nacionales coreanos. El movimiento se ha iniciado para separar el Taekwondo en dos grupos: La WTF y los Kwanes. Si no deseas que la propaganda siga mandando en tu vida, tus cintas negras, tu organización internacional o tus negocios, entonces acepta mi consejo y regresa de donde provienes, de los Kwanes.

La WTF y su liderazgo internacional actual no encabezará el deporte del Taekwondo por mucho tiempo. Les informaré de los detalles una vez que se hayan terminado los Juegos Olímpicos, por el momento no es nuestra intención entorpecer los juegos y la competencia del Taekwondo. Sólo agrego un consejo para todos los cintas negras internacionales, necesitan investigar de qué Kwan proviene su Maestro o Profesor. Hacer que su Maestro les extienda un certificado de cinta negra de su Kwan, en el futuro lo van a necesitar. Recuerden este nombre " Federación Global de Artes Marciales" (Global Martial Arts Federation).
