Shihan John Linebarger in the Southwest Regional Director for the Kwanmukan. He is a 8th Dan in Karate and Taekwondo, 9th dan in Taiho Jitsu, 6th Dan in Kobudo. He practiced directly under Robert Trias before coming to Hanshi Anderson. In 1992 he received a Ph.D. in Chinese Martial Sciences Promoted to 8th Degree Black Belt in Chinese Martial Arts. He was appointed Head Coach for the USA Karate Team (USAKF) and received All-American Award from USAKF for Karate (2nd consecutive year) Won 80+ kilo division at USA Karate Team Trials and represented the US at the World Championships in Grenada, Spain. Shihan Linebarger is member of the Trias International Society and received Robert A. Trias Lifetime Competition Award from the USA Karate & US Jujitsu Federations’ Hall of Fame. in 1985 he won the Weapons title at the Panama Kempo Internationals in Panama City, Panama World Champion (Light Heavyweight) for USKA Promoted to Assistant Chief Instructor for all Shuri Karate by Grandmaster Trias. In 1987, 1988, 1989 he was the World Champion of All Black Belts - USKA. He operates the Kosho Karate Organization headquartered in Tucson, Arizona.
